Tuesday, May 13 - Happy b-day Bea Arthur & I hate Play-Doh!
Seriously, I freaking HATE play-doh. It is one of the messiest substances on the earth and we give it to children to "play" with... My daughter happens to love it, but it's only on rare occasions that I take it down off the high shelf and let her do her thing because it is such a huge pain in the keyster to clean up!!! Of course today I let her play with it - basically because I needed some time to do some work on the computer and I was desperate for her to be content... and yeah, MESS-A-LICIOUS!!! Plus, half of it had dried out, so then there's the crusty pieces that just crumble into a mess... and the sticky pieces... and they also came up with the brilliant idea of making a sandy type play-doh substance for the "beach" set and that stuff is sticky and disgusting... So yah, in a nutshell, I hate play-doh.
Today is Bea Arthur's 86th birthday. That makes me feel old. I remember when she was 65... VH-1 did a funny best of Bea thing to commemorate her 86 years...
