Don't be a fool today. If anyone tries to tell you they are leaving the country, having a baby, quitting their job, getting a sex change, or anything else that doesn't seem possible - it's probably an April Fool's Day joke. I have a feeling my boyfriend is going to try to pull something on me... he already got me good last night. He sent me a text message telling me the joke he is going to play on one of his friends, and I thought he was serious! Yeah, I'm gullible. I was also 2 (big) glasses of red wine deep at my cousin's house!
We had a sleepover last night... which consisted of chicken, steak, and rice, red wine, watching the E! channel, talking about old times, looking for a clip on youtube of something we found extremely funny one night about 17 years ago (we were not successful - I think Sally Struthers was in it but I can't remember if it was her or not), and more red wine. I am surprised I don't have a hangover today, but I drank a good amount of water before I went to bed.
It's IDOL NIGHT!!! Woo Hoo!! Tuesday is now my favorite night of the week... I'm hoping for some spectacular performances tonight, last week wasn't all that impressive... I put a poll up on the main page for your enjoyment - who is the most annoying person on American Idol? Randy, Paula, Simon, or Ryan? They all have their annoying qualities... and I actually find Simon to be the LEAST annoying these days... Ryan only annoys me when he says THIS is AMERICAN IDOL, but it annoys me so much he's almost equally as annoying as Paula is with EVERYTHING she says, and Randy just says the same few lines every time - it's either "yo yo yo" or "for me that was just OK" I think they need to freshen up the judging panel next year.
My hair is a COMPLETE disaster. I need to go see Nicholas! My hair is SO BAD it isn't even funny. And to make matters worse, my hairdryer is giving off this burning smell, which obviously isn't a good sign, so I have to get a new one. I don't know what to do with my hair next, I liked the red... maybe I'll just do that again. It's fun. Different. I got a lot of compliments on it, then for the summer I'll go back to just blonde. It's just so much to keep up with and I know eventually all the chemicals are going to ruin my hair... so far it's not bad but it will be. I haven't had my natural color in probably 10 years!!
I miss doing my dirt site so much! I can't do pictures right now though and it just doesn't feel like it's worth it to do it without any pictures... I think I might do some posts today and tonight... I have nothing to do later but clean my house... It's still a bit of a mess after the weekend. I have to do some serious organization of Kyla's toys and clothes. She just has too many toys, so they're all going to GoodWill. I'm also wondering if I can donate them to Children's Hospital or something... I know when she was there they had a bunch of toys and stuff, but they might just take new stuff. I'm going to go through her clothes and give some to friends who have little girls... Most of her clothes are brand name and in great condition... and she just got a TON of new stuff for her birthday!
I am going to get to work on some other stuff now... Have a great April Fool's Day! Don't let anyone get you!
