I was PSYCHED to see David Cook win last night.  There was so much hype over Archuleta that I just wasn't sure... Clearly David Cook is hotter and has more of a pop/rock appeal... Archuleta will do well I'm sure, but I just can't hear him pumping out the pop hits like David C. will... Definitely cool.  Now I can't wait for the Idols tour this summer, I'm hoping I get to meet them!!!

Today Kyla and I went to the Children's Museum in West Hartford.  It was fun.  She had a blast checking out the turtles and playing with some other kids... We also saw a movie in the planetarium.  They have a huge t-rex that moves and looks real and she was totally scared of it!!  It was so cute... She couldn't wait to see the "big dinosaur" and when we got to it she took a step back and didn't want to walk into the room!!  I had to explain to her that it wasn't real, and she asked, "then why is it moving?"  She's so cute!!!!

Then we went to look at some plants at a nursery in West Hartford.  This place is GORGEOUS... they have so many beautiful plants... I am going to check out a few other places before I buy a tree to replace poor Spike... Spike came to us with some worms that we just haven't been able to get rid of and at this point the freaking thing is just not getting any nutrients out of the soil because the bugs are hogging them all... so the tree is dead in our livingroom.  We've tried everything!!!  It was a nice looking tree but there's nothing I can do about it now.  I really want a plant that has flowers, I have to look around some more and find something that will do well inside.  I want to plant a garden and get some nice flowering plants for outside but I'm going to wait until we buy our own place to do that... no sense planting a nice rose bush somewhere and then having to leave it... I'll focus on the indoor stuff for now.  I'm such a geek, but I needed some hobbies :)

Tomorrow I don't know what we're going to do... If it's nice I could go for another day at the park, if not, I think we'll play Barbies.  I have such a rough life, I know!
