My kid is so cute. When Lindsay showed up to babysit tonight Kyla says, "hey Lindsay, how was your day?" Isn't that so sweet??? She's the greatest. We colored today and she ate a pear, strawberries, and blueberries. She was all about the "healthy treats" today.
I'm exhausted for some reason. It doesn't seem to matter how much/how little sleep I get, some days I just feel completely drained of energy and today was one of them!
How about Idol last night? It was so cool to see them go back to their hometowns and get such a crazy welcome! I knew Syesha was going to go home... they couldn't do it any other way, because if she had stayed, then obviously the other person would have won... David Cook vs. David Archuleta... I honestly won't be surprised either way next week. I think David Cook deserves to win, he's given pretty stellar performances just about every time, he's never (that I can recall) forgotten the lyrics or done anything stupid... and Archuleta has flubbed up a few times and I think he's just too immature... But we'll see. My boyfriend is convinced David A will win, I'm all about David C. Should be crazy exciting next week!
I got my new issue of Cosmo and it's been sitting in my dining room for 3 days and I keep completely forgetting to READ IT. I'm super smart.
My cousin made this great English Muffin bread for me for Mother's Day. She's going to give me the recipe so I can try to make it... I'm sure I'll screw it up, but I really need to learn to bake and cook more!
I can't believe Fall Out Boy has won the 9 O'Clock News the last few nights... I do not like that song AT ALL!!! I didn't think they'd do well at all... Oooh speaking of Fall Out Boy, I can't wait to see whether or not he and Ashlee Simpson end up getting married on Saturday- and we'll see if Jessica brings Tony Romo as her date!
Have you seen Trailer Park Boys? You should rent it. It's on On Demand right now, at least it was a week ago when we saw it. It is HILARIOUS.
