What a lovely first day of Spring!  Not.

At least the girl at DD made my coffee right today, it's excellent.  

I just bought a ton of fresh flowers for my house last night... I tried some new kinds, and I got some white roses, I am really trying to learn about flowers... I'm such a dork.  I gave plants a shot and ended up killing them, at least flowers are supposed to die in a week or two... 

We celebrated my boyfriend's mom's birthday last night... We all chipped in and got her a Wii.  She was SO EXCITED.  The look on her face was priceless... She's psyched... and she can play against her grandsons, and bowl with her friends when they come over, and they're getting a new TV soon... So fun!  I've been thinking about getting one but we are never home, and it would barely get used.  We had Big Y pizza (so yummy) and cake and ice cream, I always eat too much when I go over there.  

My boyfriend spent the night hanging out in the ER in Philadelphia, he's out of town working... he broke his toe!!  Poor thing, he is doing construction on his store and dropped something on his baby toe last week and the pain just got worse so he finally had to go to the hospital... I feel so bad that I am here and he is there.  And he's got the flu too... I wish he could just come home but he's getting Kyla tomorrow morning so he has to stay.  Poor baby.

I'm wearing my pink crocs today.  I don't care how cheesy they are, when I'm wearing a pink shirt and my ripped jeans I love to wear my crocs... 

After work Lindsay and I are going shopping for Kyla's Easter stuff... I've decided to put the following in her Easter eggs for the hunt:

Candy (of course, but in minimal amounts)
Crackers/cookies
Plastic jewelry (so she stops trying to wear my bracelets)
Stickers
Tattoos
Polly pockets
Barbie outfit
Hair stuff

I'm also thinking I can get some of the bigger eggs and I might put a bathing suit in one, some cute socks, stuff that she will need... 

How about American Idol?  I can not believe Carly was in the bottom three.  I LOVE HER.  Kristy Lee Cook needs to go home, Amanda needed to go but I would rather see her in the top 10 and in concert than Kristy... I can't believe Ramiele and Jason are still safe, they bore me... If Jason didn't have those dreds I don't think he'd still be on...

I thought Mariah was actually going to be on the show, but she's just one of the mentors.  Just seeing her mug on the screen was enough for me.

How about the Paula Simon kiss take 2?  That was funny.  Simon is such a ham for the cameras.  He just said that because he knew it would shock people.  We'll see what happens.  

I drank my delicious coffee too quickly...

Have you heard of Tokio Hotel?  They are young and punk-ish, but they are about to explode here... they are HUGE all over Europe... Mark my words, if you haven't heard them yet they are going to be massive... Move over Jonas Brothers.
