Just as I was about to sit here and write my daily ramblings about American Idol and Moment of Truth, among other important things, my ex IM'd me to inform me that OUR DAUGHTER STUCK SOMETHING UP HER NOSE AGAIN LAST NIGHT!!!

WHAT?????!!!!!

Yes, if you recall, back in January my now 4 year old daughter Kyla had to go to the ER because we discovered - after months of concern - that she had shoved something very far up her nose and it was rotting and smelling... It was a traumatizing experience, from the x-rays, to the doctor's prodding up her nose, to the strep test, to being held down by me and 3 other people while a doctor took a massive set of tweezers and jammed them up her nose and yanked "God knows what" out of there... we told her over and over and over DON'T EVER PUT ANYTHING UP YOUR NOSE AGAIN, and we've continued to remind her... and yet, last night, SHE SHOVED A STICKER UP HER NOSE!!!

She went running right to her dad and told him, and she was all upset and knew she screwed up, but STILL!!!  I can't believe she did it again!!!  I'm glad she at least knew enough to tell him she did it and he got it out, but I'm a little freaked out.

Oh, and of course, she said "don't tell my mommy!"  He told her of course he was going to tell me, so tonight I have to have a chat with my little girl about sticking things up her nose, again.  

Last night I ordered a bunch of pictures from Shutterfly.  I have so many great pictures of her and the other kids from the last few weeks - Easter, blowing bubbles outside, her birthday...  I wanted to pick them up today at Target but they only let you do glossy ones in the store and I don't like glossy.  I prefer matte.  You?  I figured it was time to update all the pictures in the house and on the fridge and send some to the family... share the cuteness!!

My 12:20 name better call back today.  I'm only on for Gina until Friday and I really don't want to be the loser for the week with people calling back!!  So far it's ONLY the names I've called that haven't called back!!!  Why register for all this loot if you're not going to pay attention??  Duh.

Have you tried these Special K 90 calorie snack bars???  They are SO YUMMY, and so much better than most of the other things I enjoy snacking on... I had one for breakfast and I keep them in my bag so that when I get a little hungry I eat one of those instead of ordering some junk food from the delivery place down the street.  I'm getting my exercize bike by Sunday.  I just informed my boyfriend that I am going to be EXTREMELY MAD if we don't make time to get it by Sunday.  I will have a miserable summer if I continue to look this out of shape and flabby.

How about Moment of Truth????  I knew there'd have to be a follow up episode so they did it last night... my absolute favorite is the update on the guy who admitted he is attracted to his wife's sisters, he's dated his wife's sisters, his wife is not the most attractive woman he's ever been with, and he slept with his friend's wife... They said he and his wife are working out their issues, and with his prize money... he's buying his wife BREAST IMPLANTS!!!  Well, isn't that special and a great way to spend your winnings on your unattractive wife... hopefully those new boobs will help her compete with her sister for your affection and attention!!!  TR-ASH!!!!

I have to go to the grocery store and get some more flowers for my house today.  A bunch of them are dying.  My bromeliad Vicky is officially dead.  Someone told me that I can re-plant part of her, so I'm going to try that... if she's not too far gone.  My 2nd orchid is 1/2 dead - one of the long stems just shriveled up and died, but the other one is going strong... and my 1st orchid is doing well and growing another stem... I'm hoping it will bloom again soon.  Spike the palm tree is having a rough time of it, we have to get something to kill the worms.  My boyfriend has been trying to tell me that the worms aren't hurting it, but it gets water, sunlight, and TLC (I talk to it), so I can't understand why it's not growing other than those little frigging worms are killing it - and there's a lot of them.  Our rubber plant is THRIVING and it was near death when we moved... so I'm not completely killing all of them.  Survival of the fittest in my house I guess!!  I'm going to get some more plants as the weather gets nicer... any suggestions??  I'm definitely getting another bromeliad, I like them.  Vicky Jr.

I drank my coffee entirely too fast this morning and now I don't feel so great... stupid, stupid.
