I'm so happy the weekend is here!! I'm at work right now, I'm on 10-3 today, which is a pretty cool shift - except for the fact that it's 79 degrees and sunny out and I want to be outside!! The last few days have been gorgeous but I haven't been able to enjoy them because I've been plugging away on the website... It's getting there. I figured out how to do the podcasts, so you'll be able to listen to my gossip reports every day (you're thrilled, I know) and I'm still trying to decide how to do my personal part of the blog/vlog on there... I might just set it up the same way I'm doing the podcasts - in their own category but not on the main page. I am actually considering doing a poll to see how many people who read the site actually want to read/see my crap other than the gossip... The good news is, the site looks aweome, it loads much faster, it has new features, and it's almost done. The one thing I wanted to be able to do that hasn't been worked out yet is the photo albums, but we're waiting for a WordPress plugin that isn't upgraded yet... so I'll get that done soon.
Kyla will be back with me Mother's Day weekend! I can't wait... We have so much to do before she gets here though... I'm trying to figure out where she's going to go a few days a week so she can play with other kids and be outside since I am going to be working my butt off on the website for the next few months during the day... Plus, she needs kids to play with and I'm sure she gets sick of me. I'm also looking for a new sitter since we live far away from the other ones... Lindsay is still going to watch her a few nights a week... but gas prices are going to kill her driving from Windsor Locks to Newington!! I just can't believe it's that out of control... I know it is hurting us, I can't even imagine what it's like right now for people on a super tight budget.
After work I'm going to my boyfriend's parents for Passover... They're having like 35 people over!! A full house... I'm excited to see their new family room... his mom painted it and they got a new TV... then tonight we're going out with some of my man's friends - one of his friends is leaving for 3 months for military duty.
Tomorrow we're having about 10-15 people over to play Wii and have some cocktails and hang out... I'm hoping it doesn't rain, I don't think it's going to... just not going to be as warm as it's been the last few days.
Then Monday it's back to working on the website and stuff. Nothing new!!
I will be back to vlogging and more soon, just had to put my time into getting the new site set up.
Oh, do you like this new song I've been playing on the 9 O'Clock News? Tristen Prettyman, Madly. It's awesome. I liked it the first time I heard it, and that doesn't happen often... I'm also digging No Air by Jordan Sparks and the new Colbie Caillat Realize... and I hate to admit it but I get into the Touch My Body song by Mariah although anytime I see the video I have to shut it off because she irritates me.
