March 19 - Why I feel like an idiot, a Kyla video, and American Idol
1. Why I feel like an idiot: Yesterday there were a bunch of sites claiming Halle Berry named her baby Clara Stella Berry Aubrey... I thought that sounded weird and just didnt' fit, and I didn't really believe it, but since it was on a number of websites I figured it must be correct... so I posted it to mine, made a poll about it on this site, talked about it on the air, reported it in my gossip updates on twenty something stations, and of course it was wrong!!! She named her baby Nahla Ariela... Which I think is horrible and Disney-ish (Nala & Ariel anyone?!?!) and Ariela sounds like a female breast part if you know what I mean, but whatever...

I'm pretty sure I mentioned in a previous post that we went to The Children's Museum on Saturday... Well the museum had closed at this point and we were trying to get the kids to leave, but Kyla was so into this plane she kept running back to it, so I took a quick video. My boyfriend is into flight simulator and wants to get his pilot's license so I told her to say hi to him... How adorable is she - you can tell she's an experienced airline passenger at 3 years old!! Then she gets pissed at me for not going to my seat!! She's just the cutest thing ever.
Oh, here's another funny little Kyla tidbit... My sister gave her a Barbie livingroom set, it came with a couch, pillows, coffee table, phone, all kinds of accessories, and a little pizza in a pizza box... so Kyla says "hey mom, I need a pizza delivery guy Barbie, did Auntie Erin give me one?" I just couldn't believe it... the things that come out of her mouth!!
3. American Idol: I still don't know who my favorite is between Carly, Brooke, and David Cook. David Archuleta was great last night, he redeemed himself, but I still don't think he's got more talent or a better voice than the other 3 favorites... I thought everyone sang well, not their best performances, but nobody really sucked... Brooke was a little akward and a little cheesy with the sunshine and yellow light and yellow dress, but she SANG well, and I thought Carly was awesome but Simon gave her a hard time... Jason wasn't good at all - I would have to say he was the worst of the night... Kristy is pretty and I thought she did a good job, but again Simon tooled on her! I thought the judges were really harsh on everyone but I guess they have to be at this point. Syesha was good, Ramiele was boring - again, Michael Johns tried to do too much but he sang OK, Chikeze was all over the place, I think that covers everyone... Oh, and Amanda, she did the same thing she's done every time... I think Kristy and Jason will be in the bottom 3...
I got Kyla the CUTEST little shirt on eBay yesterday... It's a Gap tank top that says I (heart) Friends... She loves her little friends at her preschool and here with me, and she is really into reading what's on people's shirts, she loves to ask me what the letters are on my sweatshirts (PINK!!) and asks me what they spell. Now she knows how to spell Pink because I wear so many Pink things.
This rain sucks, and so does my coffee today. Yesterday they screwed up my bacon egg and cheese, so I just brought some Honey Nut Cheerios for breakfast today... and of course now my coffee tastes stale. Ugh.
