1. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older who reside in Connecticut or Massachusetts. Employees, officers and directors of Energy Brands, CBS Radio (collectively “Sponsor and its agents”),Walgreens, their subsidiaries, corporate parents, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and immediate family members (spouses, siblings, children and parents, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
2. TO ENTER: The “Carrie Me Home” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins June 30, 2008 and ends on September 7, 2008 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). There will be one (1) Grand Prize during this Sweepstakes, and there will be two (2) ways in which to enter this Sweepstakes:
B. To enter without making a purchase, hand print your first and last name, complete address, telephone number and date of birth on a 3 x 5 card. Mail your entry to be postmarked by August 31, 2008 and received by September 5, 2008 to vitaminwater “Carrie Me Home” Sweepstakes, 10 Executive Drive, Farmington, CT 06032. You may enter by mail as often as you wish, but each mail entry must be mailed separately. No mechanical reproduction of entries permitted.
Sponsors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for [a] late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or postage-due entries or mail; [b] incorrect data, along with any and all electronic, network, computer or other technical malfunctions or any human error that may occur upon collection, processing and transmission of data; or [c] any type of graphical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the Sweepstakes. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned.
3. DRAWING AND PRIZES: One (1) winner will be selected at 10am on September 7, 2008 in a random drawing from amongst all eligible entries received.
The winner will win one (1) prize which consists of two (2) tickets in one of the first 20 rows for the October 15, 2008 Carrie Underwood LIVE performance under the Carnival Ride Tour at the Agganis Boston arena with limousine transportation to and from one to be determined location in Connecticut or Massachusetts. [Please be sure to specify the details for the limo service. e.g. date/time, the pick up & drop off locations and length of use, does it include tip, etc.,] Approximate Retail Value of the prize is =$550.00.
Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible electronic and mail-in entries combined received. Winner need not listen or be present to win. The name of the winner will not be announced on air. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or express mail, at CBS Radio and Sponsor’s sole discretion on or about September 8th, 2008 and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and (where permitted by law) a publicity release, which must be returned within ten (10) business days of attempted notification or the winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected at random from amongst the remaining eligible entries. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) above and do not include taxes, gratuities, or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. GENERAL: Taxes on prizes and all expenses related to acceptance and use of prizes and not specified are the sole responsibility of winners. Winners will be issued a 1099 tax form for the approximate retail value of the prize. By participating, entrants agree [a] to comply with these rules and all decisions of Sponsors and their agents which shall be final in all respects relating to the Sweepstakes; [b] to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, and their agents and representatives from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participating in the Sweepstakes or their acceptance, use or misuse of a prize; and if a winner, [c] to the use of his/her name and/or photograph for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media worldwide without compensation (except where prohibited by law) and agree to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. Failure to conform to all Sweepstakes rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of an entrant, will result in the entrant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. Sponsors undertake no liability or responsibility, and makes no warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to the performance of the prize awarded, for any failure to perform or negligent performance of any service provider, or for any other risk, incident or damage, direct or indirect, relating to or arising out of the Sweepstakes. Sponsors are not responsible for damage to a prize or loss of a prize after the prize has been claimed. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsors, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Sponsors reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof should causes beyond control of Sponsors corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes, in which case prizes will be awarded via a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation.
